1.) At the age of eight he became blind because of small-pox


2.) Kondiba tried doing different jobs like selling brooms but was unsuccessful. Due to all of this he went to Mumbai where there were many beggars who earned  a living by begging.

1.) As soon as Kondiba heard that someone had fallen into the well, he left his food and rushed to the well, he asked Yelanbai to take him to the well.


2.) (c) He dived into the well to save Arvind.


3.) Kondiba dived two times into the well. It was different each time. First time, he reached the bottom by feeling his way along the rocks on the side of well. Second time, he had the idea of the shape of the well, so he went straight down to the bottom.

1.) Kondiba missed his vision because he was unable to find Arvind even though he knew that Arvind’s life was in danger.He felt helpless.
